Other than general setup controllers, the most important controllers
woud be: #07 = Volume, #10 = Pan, #91 = Reverb send level, #93 = Chorus send level, #11 = Expression - used for fade-ins, fade-outs, crescendos and decresendos. (If your instrument does not respond to controller 11, you will need to change the controllers to #7). While most MIDI dealers set controller 11 to 127 at the start of a song, we set it to 120. This creates a better volume level and gives us room to raise it later on in the song.
